Strube & Sohn German 800 Silver Anthemion Patterned Forks

A pair of 800 silver forks by Strube & Sohn of Leipzig, Germany (founded mid 19th century and active until the 1940s). Each fork features an an anthemion motif at the termination and shoulders with scrolls and floral accents to both sides of the handle. The tips are further accented with an engraved crown crest. They are marked ‘Strube & Sohn 800’ with the pictorial crescent moon and crown marks as well as a third illegible mark. The total approximate weight is 5.395 ozt.
