Arnold Dolmetsch Wing-Shaped Spinet Harpsichord

Item Details

An Arnold Dolmetsch wing-shaped spinet harpsichord , model 1187, with a walnut case and satinwood string inlay. Having a compass of five octaves, lute stop, and folding trestle stand that holds the top up. The keys are carved boxwood with ebony sharps and a spruce soundboard. The instrument sits on turned legs which are attached with hex screws and are easily removed for moving. The harpsichord comes in a custom made wood case with latches, padding to the bottom and hinged metal handles for carrying. Key to the lock is present.
