An oil painting on canvas of a landscape by listed artist Bernard J. Bosman (1911-1981). This painterly work depicts a pair of white houses as seen beyond a glassy body of water lined with feathery trees. A hazy range of mountains is visible to the background of the composition, which is signed toward its lower right and to its verso. The painting is mounted in a molded frame with a dark liner and includes a wire for hanging.
