An original signed ink drawing on paperboard by very well-listed American illustrator Sam Norkin (New York, 1917 – 2011), best-known for his theater sketches. This piece is titled Lady from the Sea. The monochromatic image depicts a still from the play by the same title, featuring several figures on a balcony. The drawing is signed to the lower center margin and titled in graphite to the lower left. It is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation. Norkin had thousands of illustrations published in the New York Daily News, New York Herald Tribune, Boston Globe, Washington Post, and countless other publications.
