A pairing of 870 and sterling silver salt cellars with cobalt glass liners. The sterling silver cellar features a reticulated oval form with a beaded rim and applied garland design over three claw feet. It is marked illegibly to the underside but tested as sterling with an approximate weight of 1.460 ozt. The 870 silver cellar features an oval form with an openwork rose and ribbon design over three claw feet. The underside is marked with Hanau pseudo-hallmarks, likely for Storck & Sinsheimer, and tested as 870 silver with an approximate weight of 1.415 ozt.
Condition
- minor surface wear including scratches and minimal tarnish;
