Item Details

A pair of American 19th C. slat-back Windsor style side chairs by Maine furniture makers Spring & Haskell, circa 1830-1840. These chairs feature hand-painted floral accents to the turned crest rail and back slat. It has spindle supports that join to a plank seat. The chairs rest on splayed wood legs with a box stretcher. Marked ‘Spring & Haskell Hiram’ to the bottom.
