Architecture

A limited edition photograph on paper of a powder room by Norm Darwish. This print depicts a pale, bare bathroom with a view of the door and sink and sunlight shining in from a stained glass window. It is signed and numbered ‘20/250’ by hand in graphite to the lower margins. The print is matted in white and presented behind glass in a silver tone aluminum frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso. Affixed to the verso is a label identifying this work as a hand-colored photograph.

Condition

- image is misaligned under mat; signature and edition number are obscured behind mat; moisture damage and stains to mat and image at lower left; noticeable warping to ground; some dirt and residue present beneath frame glass; mild discoloration to image; surface wear and dirt to frame; edge wear to frame; discoloration to the verso.
