An oil painting on panel of an abstract scene by listed artist Eli Karpel (1916 – 1998), created in 1962. The work depicts a non-representational scene with greens, off-white, and black pigments. The work is signed and dated to the lower right corner in paint. It is housed in a wood frame. Karpel was known for his curvilinear abstract sculptures.
Condition
- slight discoloration to the surface of the painting; minor wear to the frame; area of missing pigment to the upper left corner.
