Vintage Irish Bog Wood Carved Stanhope Dip Pen Staff

Item Details

A vintage Irish bog wood carved stanhope dip pen staff. The stanhope features a glass disc in the staff designed for the viewing of microphotographs. A Celtic harp accents one end of the carved staff, a brass tone metal pen holder is attached to the other end. No pen nibs are included. Item has a note stating ‘Dad sent this to me from Ireland… ’ The staff is presented in a black plastic box which reads ’Made In China’ – may not be the original packaging.
