1920's Gamewell Fire Alarm Box and Portion of Pedestal
Item Details
A 1920’s Gamewell fire alarm box. This red metal box was manufactured by the Gamewell Co. and features a hinged door with a pull down handle and lever on the front. The logo of a fist grasping lightning rods is embossed in the pediment and the company information ‘The Gamewell Co. Newton Mass’ is embossed along the bottom of the door. Inside the box has a compartment holding the gears behind a second door. Also included is a portion of a cast pedestal.
