Hand-painted Japanese "Kutani" Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
An assortment of Japanese Kutani porcelain tableware including a teapot, a covered cream pitcher, a covered sugar bowl, five bread plates, and five saucers. The pieces feature hand-painted floral designs in red, light blue, and mauve with gilt outlines and black borders with gilt sunburst patterns. The pieces are marked ‘Kutani’ (九谷) to the underside.
Condition
- crazing throughout; discoloration; marks to undersides.
