A limited edition first issue figurine titled Sister’s Forever: In Elder Years from Thomas Blackshear’s Ebony Visions collection. The figurine depicts two older African woman, both dressed in traditional clothing, one sitting on a stool, the other standing behind her bent down and leaning forward giving her sister a hug. The figures are set upon a base depicting stone and grass which is affixed to a larger wooden base. The artist’s initials are stamped in the mold. Maker’s information printed on the underside of the stand reads “ Limited Edition First Issue 34 of 1,500 Item No. 804615 ©2008 Department 56”.
