An oil painting on canvas, by Jose Vidal Gumbau (Spanish Modernist, 1907-1989 ). This piece depicts a blonde-haired woman in a purple top holding a rose and standing at a window with small potted cacti. She is overlooking a waterfront street, and painted over a textured ground layer. The work is signed to the lower right corner along with being inscribed ‘Paris’. It is presented in a gold tone wood frame with molded foliate details in the corners and wire to the verso for hanging.

- discoloration to the composition; scratching and wear to the frame; discoloration and accretion to the verso.
