An oil painting on canvas board of a wooded scene by listed artist Robert Alan Gough. This well-rendered painting depicts a tall, overflowing canopy of trees overlooking a grassy hill overtaken by grass and brush. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted signature. The painting is presented in a dark wooden frame featuring a linen liner with hanging wire and a handwritten inscription noting the artist and other various info to the verso.
