An original 1919 oil painting on canvas of a pastoral landscape. This painting depicts a rolling, grassy hillside that curves inward to create a valley. Sunlight pokes from behind a plumage of clouds, raking the hills with light. The year of creation, signature and an illegible inscription are signed in sgraffito to the lower right. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging rope to the verso.

- to fair; edge wear to frame; canvas out of alignment with frame; crackling; stretcher marks present; residue to surface; areas of lacuna.
