A complete set of the Harvard Classics, edited by Harvard University’s president Charles W. Eliot. This set includes volumes one through fifty-one, containing a series of classic world literature. The set was published by P.F. Collier & Son of New York and shows a copyright date of 1909. The books have been numbered as 185 in a limited edition printing, and are marked to the title page with, ‘Edition Deluxe’ and the spine with, ‘Library Edition’. Each volume is presented in a three-quarter leather bound cover with red cloth boards and gilt lettering to the spine.
