Chinese Wanjiang Fishermen and Resin Buddha Figurine
Item Details
A pairing of Chinese Wanjiang fisherman ceramic figurines and a resin Buddha figurine. The standing fisherman is wearing a green top and is carrying a pole with a fish; the seated fisherman is wearing a navy and beige top and is missing a pole. The Buddha figurine is seated in the lotus position and finished in a deep red tone with multiple floral, foliate and geometric designs throughout and there is not a discernible maker’s mark. The two ceramic figurines are marked ‘Made in Wanjiang China’ to the underside with other various number and character marks.
Condition
- minor wear and dust; one fisherman is missing pole.
