Royal Doulton "Piping Down the Valleys Wild" Teapot

Item Details

A Royal Doulton Piping Down the Valleys Wild teapot. The cream colored teapot has a medallion to the front featuring the Piper framed by a tree trunk with blue birds accented the body and domed lid of the teapot. The opposite of the teapot features a medallion with two lambs framed by a tree trunk. The angled handle of the teapot has black linear detailing and the rim of the teapot is accented with a black scrollwork border. The series, created by Royal Doulton was inspired by William Blake’s poem of the same name. The teapot is marked to the verso.
