An oil painting on canvas titled La Fleuriste by American artist Bill Eagan (20th/21st century). This painting features a painterly composition of a man entering a florist shop in Paris rendered with brilliant hues and areas of low impasto. It is signed in paint to the lower right corner. This painting is presented in a gilt wooden frame with a beveled edge without glass.
Bill Eagan is a native of Cincinnati, inspired by the rolling green hills of the Tristate area. He studied Art at the University of Notre Dame, the University of Cincinnati, the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and Thomas More College. Some of the teachers that influenced him were Stanley William Sessler, Reginald Grooms, and Daryl Brothers. Eagan is a painter, oil on canvas, of landscapes and cityscapes. His work falls into the category of American Impressionism. Bill loves to travel and includes these sites as inspiration for his paintings. He has a studio at the Pendleton Art Center.
