Junghans Wood Wall Clock
Item Details
A Junghans wood wall clock. The clock is oak and veneer with a brown stain finish and features a shaped bonnet with a carved wood scrollwork and acanthus leaf crest and egg and dart molding to the crest rail. The clock has a rectangular case with a wood and glass front door that is decorated with carved scrollwork and beveled glass with silver-tone accents. Other features of the clock include a brushed silver bezel surrounding a white face with black Arabic numbers and hands, two key arbors, a silver-tone pendulum and chimes on the hour. The clock has a round glass panel to the side, a hook to the verso for hanging and a tapered wood base. The clock is marked to the face ‘Junghans’.
