A set of four mahogany plates hand-painted by Bibi Leon in the Dominican Republic. The designs are worked in ivory and faded marigold and are inspired by sea creatures. Featured are a sea turtle, a crab, a conch, and a fish. The primary designs are surrounded by painted rims decorated in a variety of patterns. Each plate is signed on the back and has a sticker label giving information about the artist and how to care for the pieces.
