Item Details

A North Wind carved oak chair. This elongated oak side chair carved in the upper back with the allegorical image of the North Wing, with a hand carved central back splat between the curvilinear supports which open mortise into the solid seat and continue downward to form the rear legs which have box stretchers; with the front French cabriole legs hving a stretcher turned with a string of graduated beads. Unmarked.

Condition

- front legs and front-to-back stretchers have slight looseness/wiggle, scuffs on top of seat, back-left backrest support has a crack at the joining peg.
