Kim English Framed Oil Painting of a Street Market

An oil painting depicting a woman in a street market by listed Colorado artist Kim English (American, b. 1957). The painting was rendered alla prima with sensitive brushstrokes depicting soft shadows, brilliant sun-lit highlights, and rich coloring. The painting is signed ‘English’ to the lower left, and is presented in a custom-made wood frame with a beaded edge. Ready to hang.

Kim English was trained at the Rocky Mountain School of Art in Colorado. He was on both faculties of the Art Students League of Denver, and the Scottsdale Artists School. His awards include a Gold Medal of Honor and other awards from both the Allied Artists of America, and the Salmagundi Club in New York, among others. English is also an accomplished composer and pianist.
