A ceramic sculpture of cats in a laundry room by an artist named Donald W. Ewen. This piece depicts a pair of cats, one sitting on top of a washing machine and the other peering out from the open door, its contents spilling out on a pink-and-green tiled floor. A field scattered with sheep can be seen through a window behind them. This sculpture is signed ‘Ewen ’88’ toward its right edge and ‘Donald W. Ewen 1982’ to its verso along with hanging hardware which has been adhered to a wooden backing.
