A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Peshawar Style wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, camel, indigo, ivory, sage, and rust. The striated cranberry field features latticed leaf, floral motifs in diamond patterns with central medallions to each. Framing the field is a main herati patterned border with floral meander, and chained floral guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
