A Welch Mfg. Co. adamantine mantel clock. The clock has a black enamel painted case with adamantine trim with two decorative side columns. The clock has a brass bezel surrounding a white face with black Roman numerals and trident hands displayed with a brass center that has a repousse floral design. Other features of the clock include metal lion head side handles with rings, a sliding back door, eight-day mechanism and a cathedral gong on the hour and half hour and the clock stands on a plinth style base with ornate tapered metal feet.The clock has a label on the verso ‘N. Welch MFG. Co.’ The clock is untested and there is no key.
