Vintage Checkmate Acoustic Guitar and Case

Item Details

A vintage circa 1960s style acoustic guitar by Checkmate, model G-235. This guitar has a sunburst finish, black double pickguard with scrolled details, walnut fingerboard, mother of pearl inlay position markers, and a steel-reinforced neck. It is marked ‘Checkmate’ and ‘Steel Reinforced Neck, Made in Japan’ to the headstock and ‘Model No. G-235’ to the interior of the sound chamber. A hardshell case is included.
