A rare 1979 Clenet Roadster 2-door rear wheel drive convertible; VIN is CLE802057 and mileage is 10,750. Only 250 Clenet roadsters were produced, this vehicle being number 228. It has a Ford Cleveland 335-series V-8 400 automatic 3-speed gasoline powered engine. The exterior is ivory, with light tan colored bumpers and trim and wood trim details. It has wood trim on the dashboard, and tan leather seats, with decorative etched glass wing windows. A plaque on each door is marked with ‘228/250 Clenet Coachworks, Santa Barbara, California’.This vehicle is autographed by the maker under the hood, ‘Alain Clenet – 10/11/14’.
