1880s Ansonia Royal Bonn Mantel Clock
Item Details
A circa 1880s Ansonia Royal Bonn mantel clock. The La Lorne clock features shades of green against a white porcelain body, with ornate scrolls and gilt accents embellishing the curved lines of the case. Foliate designs including wildflowers and pink and lavender flowers decorate the porcelain. The brass bezel has a classic design and houses a white porcelain dial accented by black hands and numbers. The back is open to the mechanicals which are marked ‘Ansonia Clock Co. New York Patented June 18, 1882.’ The porcelain body is marked ‘Royal Bonn Germany La Lorne.’ Includes a winding key.
