Güiro and Maracas

Item Details

A collection of Latin American hand percussion instruments. This collection includes a güiro and eight pairs of maracas. Six of the maraca pairs have been carved from wood with a glossy painted finish; the other two pairs have coconut shell rattles. One maraca is marked ‘Venezuela, Caracas’ to the rattle.

Condition

- some wear to handles of pink maraca set; untested.
