Item Details

A pairing of antique Watcombe Torquay terracotta hand painted plates. The group includes a plate with hues of white and red carnations with green foliage. The larger polychrome plate/platter has a bird perched on a branch with leaves. Both pieces have textured bands around the rims. The smaller is impressed with a ‘W’ and the larger is impressed ‘Watcombe Torquay S’. The smaller plate also has pre-drilled holes for hanging.

Condition

- wear consistent with age and use; wear to the paint; would benefit from cleaning; visible discoloration.
