A wooden Mozart music box by Reuge Music. This music box features a footed box of light-toned wood, with an inlaid portrait and signature of Mozart amid a four-part bookmatched inlaid border. The similarly design sides bear images of musical instruments, and the top opens to reveal a brass-toned music box under glass, with a ‘Reuge Music. Sainte Croix, Switzerland’ label to the lid listing the Allegro, Romance, and Minuet movements of Mozart’s memorable ‘Eine kleine Nachtmusic’. A sticker reading ‘Made in Italy’ is affixed to the underside, next to the winding lever.
