Antique N. Matson and Other Coin Silver Spoons with Fiddle Handles

A six-piece collection of antique coin silver spoons. Each spoon features a tipped fiddle handle with pointed shoulders and a personalized engraving to handles, and all but one have pointed oval bowls. This includes three spoons and a sugar spoon with shell bowl by Newell Matson (American, active 1840-1887), which are presented with a tablespoon marked ‘P.B.Price’ and a spoon from retailer Jasper Stone of Charlestown, MA (active c.1850-1892). Many are marked to the backs ‘Pure Coin’. The total approximate weight is 3.825 ozt.
