A twelve-piece collection of sterling silver flatware by The Frank W. Smith Silver Co. of Gardner, MA (active 1886-1958). These are in the Frank W. Smith designed Federal Cotillion pattern, first introduced in 1901, which features a scroll and shell accented handle. This includes nine dinner forks, two teaspoons, and a single flat handle butter spreader, marked to the back with the ‘S’, crescent, and lion maker’s mark alongside ‘Sterling Pat. 1901’. The collection is presented in a flatware case with a red interior. The total approximate weight is 17.950 ozt.
