A vintage hand chased sterling silver milk jug in the Victoria pattern by Ellmore Silver Co., active from 1935-1960 out of Meriden, Connecticut. This footed jug features an urn-shaped form with hand chased scroll and leaf details around a personalized ‘R’ engraving. It is further embellished with reeded trim, a scrolled handle, and a wide spout. The underside is marked ‘Hand Chased Sterling Victoria 1935’ with the pictorial lion mark for Ellmore Silver Co. The total approximate weight is 22.585 ozt.
