"La Grace" Plaster Sculpture Reproduction after Eugene Marioton

A plaster sculpture titled La Grace. This work is after the original bronze sculpture by listed artist Eugène Marioton (French, 1854 – 1933). The patinated sculpture features a Grecian style female, draped in billowing fabric and her hair loosely flowing with tucked in flowers. The female extends her arms outwards tightly holding each end and lifts one foot into the air as she balances on the other. Marked ‘Marioton’ to base. The sculpture is mounted to a dark wooden base.

Condition

- some chipping and scuffing; statue does detach from the base
