A graphite cartoon on paper captioned Now that’s what I call evolution! by listed artist Dink Spiegel (American, 1910 – 2003). Intended for publication in Playboy Magazine the work depicts Neanderthal like men ogling a semi-nude woman. Signed by the artist in graphite above the caption to the lower right corner. Housed in a wood frame under acrylic glass and red matting. Spiegel was known for his cartoon illustrations featuring adult humor and nudity.
