A Persian game board. The rectangular board which opens at the center features one side for backgammon and the other side for checkers or chess. The board features ornately designed borders on each side with painted illustrations of men and women in traditional Persian clothing. The board is not marked with a maker’s name.

- minor marks throughout; plastic protective piece inside intact; hinges intact.
