A limited edition hand-colored etching on paper by listed German-American artist Curt Frankenstein (1920 – 2009) titled Awakening. The piece depicts a girl in a white dress standing in a surrealist landscape with imagery that includes wooden doors, playground games and cloudy skies. The print is titled to the lower left, signed in graphite to the lower right and numbered as 64 out of an edition of 150. It is matted in pale taupe and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- minor discoloration to paper and matting; scratches to frame; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; torn paper backing to frame verso.
