An 1872 Holy Bible, including the Old and New Testaments, Apocrypha, and a wealth of supplementary material. It is copiously illustrated with steel plate engravings, and bound in an ornate decorative leather hardcover with embossed and gilt lettering and designs.

- the cover is detached from the bound pages. The sewn bindings are intact, although there are some detached pages at the front of the volume. Moderate page edge wear and discoloration, but minimal foxing.
