A hand-painted French box. This petite picnic basket is handcrafted from Limoges porcelain and features a colorful hand painted fruit bouquet to the top and a basket weave pattern to the sides. The piece has an aged brass frame and handle, hinged lid, and a bee clasp to the front. The white interior is detailed with a small painting of cherries to the bottom. The box is marked ‘Decor main FA Limoges France’ to the underside.
