An offset lithograph titled Vue Generale de Paris representing a calendar of 1871 including saints’ days. The subtitles below read ‘Episode of the Siege’ and ‘The Departure of a Balloon’. This is a bird’s eye view of Paris during the close of the siege which occurred 1870-1871. It is presented behind glass, a textured silver tone mat, a gold tone fillet next which creates depth, and then a gray/silver tone striped mat on top. It is framed in a gray purposely distressed wooden frame.
