A collection of four vintage German books. This grouping features 1932 copy of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s Faust, translated to English by Alice Raphael, published by the Heritage Press. Also included is a 1959 copy of Wilhelm Meister’s Apprenticeship, also by Goethe and from the same publisher, translated to English by Thomas Carlyle. A first American edition, fourth printing, of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler is also included, published by Reynal & Hitchcock in 1939, as well as The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L. Shirer, published by Simon and Schuster in 1960.
