An offset lithograph limited edition, signed print, after an original oil painting by artist Diana Beach-Stamper, titled After The Battle. The print depicts the riderless horse of an American cavalry soldier, and a riderless spotted appaloosa pony with war paint around its eyes, and an eagle feather hanging from its bridle, touching noses. It is signed in plate, with an original signature just above, to the lower right, along with edition number ‘19/1000’. The print is presented in triple, custom-cut mat boards with intricate cut-outs at the top corners. The left-hand cut-out depicts a lawman’s star, and the right-hand cut-out depicts eagle feathers. The print and mats are housed behind glass in a custom wood frame. An engraved brass plate is affixed at the bottom front, with the title of the work and the artist’s name. Ready to hang.
