Grandson of the legendary folk artist, Howard Finster, Michael was born in Georgia in 1969 and dropped out of high school to help paint with his grandfather. His work features similar imagery of religious and natural subject matters, but also often includes fantastical depictions of aliens, dinosaurs and mythical creatures.
