Kenneth "Allen" Wilson Painted Wood Sculpture with Ceramic Head Insert

A folk art painted and carved wood sculpture #2523 of a clown by Kenneth ‘Allen’ Wilson (Summerville, Georgia). The head of the figure has a lift off top with a ceramic cup insert to the interior and the interior of the body is a bottle with the head a screw-off cap. Decorated with lines and polka dot patterns in a simple pallet. Inscribed and signed in graphite to the underside.

Wilson was the grandson of Howard Finster. He lived and worked with Howard at Paradise Garden in Summerville, Georgia.
