An original signed aritst’s proof lithograph on paper by well-listed Spanish-French artist Alvar Sunol Munoz-Ramos, who more commonly goes by Sunol Alvar (born 1935). The print is titled Woman in Red by Window. It depicts a stylized view of a woman holding a stunning bouquet of flowers as she gazes out a window at a small village. Fields of red, black, and gray ink are accented with thin cross-hatched linework, creating layers of texture and dimension across the composition. The print is signed and labeled ‘P.A.’ for the Spanish term for an artist’s proof in graphite to the lower corners. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with brushed gold tone finish and a hanging wire attached to the verso.
