Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by artist R. Butler, titled A Fisherman. This Abstract Expressionist style painting depicts a gestural layering of white, orange, black, red and yellow tones, which appear to form a hand clutching at a harpoon hoisting a large fish in profile. To the top right corner of the composition is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented in a brass tone wooden frame with hanging wire and a handwritten signature and title to the verso.
