The piece depicts an autumn woodland landscape scene with a glassy pond, partially bare tall trees and orange leaves set against multicolored overcast skies. The work is signed ‘Dürrnberger’ in brown paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a distressed painted wooden frame with dark yellow fabric liner.
