An oil painting on canvas board of a Paris street scene by listed artist Didier Grandt (French, born 1934). This painting is rendered with expressive linework and rapid brushstrokes. Depicted are figures walking through the street and sidewalks among cafes and shops and a cathedral seen in the distance. It is signed and dated ‘70’ by hand in paint to the lower left corner. The painting is presented without glass in a gray wooden frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
